We’ve made a lot of progress on this trim over the last week or so. Should have it ready to ship very soon. These pieces have been trimmed, sanded, and clearcoated. They still need to be wetsanded and polished. Small dash and ashtray pieces. On the large dash piece, we were able to retain the […]
We’ve got the epoxy on now, and they’re really taking shape. We’ll put these in the oven for a few days to help speed up the cure, then we’ll trim off all the excess carbon and start sanding the epoxy smooth. More pics to come soon.
I’ve got this e90 set of trim finished up and ready to ship. It’s a full 8 piece set. It includes 2 dash pieces, 4 door pieces, ashtray cover, and a non iDrive, manual shifter piece. It was made with an 11oz 2×2 twill fabric. Price is $800, with a $400 refundable core deposit (core […]
In an effort to start offering products to new makes and models, we recently put a call out to see if we could find some high end car owners willing to send us their interior trim so we could work our magic. The first person we found was a 2011 535i owner, and he got […]
Just got this set polished up and shipped out. Turned out fantastic. We did these in a custom 4×4 twill fabric. First time we’ve ever done a CTS-V shift knob.
just needs a quick wetsand and polish and it will be ready to get shipped out to the customer. We used an upgraded 20oz 2×2 twill fabric on it, with the weave going in all one direction. Very happy with how it turned out.
We just got done with the silver “carbon fiber” trim on the oCarbon GLI and it turned out fantastic. I’ll get some better pictures added to gallery shortly. In the mean time, I’ll give a full run down on how we made these pieces for those that are interested. First we started with the GLI’s original […]
We’ve done a few BMW sets in the past, mostly e46 and e90 sets, but now we’re about halfway done with our first M5 set. I’m really happy with how it is turning out so far, particularly the shifter piece. I can’t wait to finish this set up and see how it looks installed. We […]
I spent a little bit of time today removing my trim so I could refinish it in silver carbon fiber. I figured I’d take some pictures and document the process for anyone else who was interested in removing/replacing their interior trim. The Jetta and GLI trim is interchangeable, so the guide should be the same […]
We just got started on some more CTS-V pieces for a customer in Chicago. He wanted to maintain the factory look of the original door and dash pieces, but still do something that would set his car apart. Eventually he decided to go with a red carbon/kevlar hybrid fabric just on his center console pieces. […]
